Tol Time

On Saturday we were fortunate enough to attend the Tol of our friends' son, Little BH. BH came home from Korea a couple of months ago. You might remember when we met this NKOTB. His Tol was wonderful and brought back memories of our own son's Tol nearly one year ago.

BH's Toljabee choices. What do you think he picked? My DH voted for the football & I voted for the xylophone. I'm sure if Little D could vote, he would have voted for the truck book, of course.

Here's the birthday boy!

Just getting a little playing in before his official duties began.

Little D decided it was a perfect time to drive some trucks.

Guess what we went out and bought D after this party?

A rug that looks similar to this...great for truck driving.

Then the boys donned their Hanboks...sans the pants.

Little BH's were too big and so we decided Little D would skip his too.

Love how they both have jeans on AND nearly identical brown shoes.

Nothing like a little friendly truck time...with your buddy...

...even if your parents make you wear your Hanboks.

"Wanna trade?"

And then...they were off...in opposite directions, of course.

Time for a prayer for Little BH.

And then...it was the BIG moment.

Our friend, D, placed Little BH on the Tol table.

(She was braver than I was. I strapped Little D into his highchair.)

And...he made his choice.

So...what did he choose?

First choice: The ball -- Athlete

Second choice: The stethoscope -- Doctor

Third choice: The car -- Race Car Driver

Good choices, BH!

After this shot was done, Little D started stripping off his Hanbok.

I guess he'd had enough of the slippery silk.
