- LOVE our little red cardinal bird...who LOVES playing dress-up.
- LOVE that this weekend is Halloween. This will be Little D's first time trick-or-treating. We plan to go to just a few neighbors' homes and of course to Grandma & Grandpa's house too.
- LOVE that my cough is *finally* lessening and I'm slowly feeling better. Two weeks has felt like a long time to have this cruddy virus.
- LOVE the family photos we had taken earlier this month. I've been viewing & reviewing the proofs...narrowing down my "wish list" and need to place my order soon. (Sorry...no photos to share yet...keeping them under wraps for a bit longer.) Considering Little D wasn't in the best of moods, wasn't feeling well, and wasn't particularly cooperative...the photographer still managed to capture several good shots. She rocks!
- LOVE the Halloween cupcakes I made this week to take to a party at work. Sugary, seasonal perfection...yum.
- LOVE plans to have dinner at my parents' this weekend.
- LOVEd doing water paints with Little D this week...even if he did smash/crush the paintbrush into a sad little piece of mush. I think I can save it. I think I like water painting better than finger painting with him.
- LOVE that my parents helped watch Little D for me for a little while on Wednesday morning...so I could have the WHOLE HOUSE TO MYSELF for 1.5 hrs. Yes! That is the first time I've been home completely alone since Little D came home. How crazy is that?!

Little D is a cute little cardinal, but whats with the snowflakes on the windows?!?! I do not think I am ready for that season yet.

My cold lasted about 2 weeks too and my cough is not even gone yet. WTH? Luckily the version that Max got was only about 3 days long.

1.5 hours to yourself?! Fabulous. It's amazing what just an hour or 2 for you can do. I've had a couple of those since we moved to MI and it's wonderful and needed!
