LOVE this fun gift Little D received from a new friend. He LOVEs wearing it around the house. [More details on both of these things (the gift & the new friend) soon.]- LOVEd going out to dinner tonight. Little D charmed the waitstaff...as usual. Especially LOVE the dessert we all shared: chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. Little D enjoyed it too.
- LOVEd finishing this book and starting this book (finally!).
- LOVEd meeting a new arrival from Korea during the week. Playdate! Little H is soooo cute...and soooo little. (I cannot believe D was probably that little too when he first came home.) Photos soon.
- LOVE having plans for another playdate this weekend.
- LOVE this show. We caught the occasional episode during the regular season (last season), but now have started watching them all on Netfl*x. Funny, funny, funny!
- LOVE how Little D says, "Thank you!" Besides hearing him say "Mama" and "Dada" for the first time, this is probably my favorite word to hear him say...especially when he says it spontaneously (which is more & more now) and when he throws in a "mama" at the end.

Good stuff this week!!! Did you see the photos of Max and his cousin Harrison in their Pororo backpacks I just posted? Too funny! I have Calligrapher's Daughter on my nightstand but have not cracked it yet. What did you think of it? You will love Three Cups of Tea! Right now I'm slogging through Cutting for Stone - it's good but hard to read in 20 minute spurts! Big Modern Family fan here although I thought last night's premiere was just "meh" compared to last season - hope it gets better!
PS - Do I know who little H is? I'm not sure I do...
Did you go to Longfellow for dinner? I saw they have that dessert on their menu now. Yummo!

I'm so glad Little D loves his new backpack! We got a similar one for Baby H, but haven't given it to him yet.
I picked up Calligrapher's Daughter before our trip thinking I would have time to read it in Korea - not. I'm looking forward to finding time to read again. I have been able to catch some TV, and was excited to watch the new episode of Modern Family. Such a great show!
OK, this week I could actually comment on every. single. item. But as you may have noticed, I'm desperately trying to catch up on life. So I'm picking two things. One, I love that little D charmed everyone in the restaurant. You're right... our boys should run for office together. Or, at the very least, do a road show. We'd make a killing! Two, I read The Calligrapher's Daughter a couple of months ago... what did you think?! Do you want to go back and do a history tour of Korea now too?!
